Super Speed Study Skills
Created to show students how to develop their study skills and adopt positive and effective study habits.

Super Speed Study Skills

A high-impact, interactive learning experience.

Super Speed Study Skills is an effective, immersive workshop which inspires students to take control of their studying.

Students are shown a range of study tools and techniques that will boost their learning abilities for the rest of their lives – NOT just in school!

Students become more motivated through a greater understanding of how their brain works and how their own state of mind can influence their levels of success.

Aspirations are raised through a greater sense of ‘I Can’ and abilities rise as a direct consequence of this.

This workshop aligns with Gatsby benchmarks, the 3 I’s and NERUPI framework. Some of the content covered in Super Speed Study Skills includes:

  • Visualization & association
  • Technique planner
  • Revision timetable
  • The Memory Stack
  • Metacognition
  • Study time calculator
  • Dual coding

Techniques include:

  • Summary poster
  • Sticky note summaries
  • The Feynman Technique
  • The 2 minute rule

  • To show students that studying really can be fun
  • To raise standards of learning and cognition
  • To encourage the adoption of a range of learning techniques

We recommend that students be sat around tables of 6-8 in a venue conducive to learning.
